 I am sure you are all wondering who and what is FAMSA, well here we go....

(FAMSA) Family And Marriage Society of South Africa-  Is an National Welfare organisation and has 27 societies throughout South Africa. FAMSA Kimberley was established on the 4th of June 1982. On the 8th of August, it was registered as a fundraising organisation and in 1987 as a welfare organisation. FAMSA regards the family, as the nucleus of society, when it weakens or crumbles the stability of the entire community and nation becomes affected.  

FAMSA was established for the purpose of initiating and co-coordinating resources to find other ways of ensuring healthy, stable, independent and happy marriage and family life. FAMSA offers a range of services and is staffed with qualified social workers.
For over 54 years FAMSA has been developing human potential by providing counselling, education and training for South Africans who want help with relationship issues. Communities have developed skills and gained from services work in FAMSA Focus areas such as Violence and Trauma; HIV/AIDS; Abusive relationships; Poverty and Relationship Breakdown.

Annual Events for FAMSA

Each year there are events that we host and some we attend. As an organisation that deals with Family and marriage matters we priorities on events that help us reach our goal of keeping families together and making sure that they get to interact with other people.
